An unexpected departure

Sr Raymonde Tessier’s Canadian companions would like to offer us some testimonials of the one who left us without any warning on December 22, 2020.

For the past year, Raymonde was the web correspondent for the Vice-province of Three Rivers which has now become “Entity of Les Filles de Jésus of Three Rivers.” Despite her frail health condition, Raymonde still wanted to continue serving with love.

Here are now some of the most inspiring traits that our dear Sister Raymonde left us.

Hommage to Sr Raymonde Tessier

Although Raymonde left us unexpectedly and too soon, she leaves in her wake the example of a woman who was happy, free, humble, cultivated, deeply missionary, totally dedicated to her congregation and the Church.

With great simplicity, she knew how to be close to all people, whatever their life situations. Her fragile state of health never prevented her from participating in various responsibilities with joy, respect, and wisdom along with a sense of accomplishment.

Yes, Raymonde, you will always be remembered as a person who was welcoming, loving, and generous with your time and talents. Thank you for this beautiful legacy.

Rest in peace with the ONE who called you

to follow Him right to the end.

(and Ruth Bérubé Postulant Mistress).
