Nathalie Guéguen, dj,

was asked to share her experience
in this the year of consecrated life,
during one of the Lent walks.
For several years now the diocese of Quimper-and- Léon (Finistère – France) has organised a walk to 5 sanctuaries with crowned statues over the course of the 5 Sundays of Lent. This year the theme was “the consecrated life”. Each one of the walks was led by a member of the consecrated life, who then witnessed during the Eucharist.
It was thus that, on the 15 March 2015, the third Sunday of Lent, a walk took place to the sanctuary of Our Lady of the Doors, at Châteauneuf-du-Faou, where I was asked to give a commentary on the Gospel of the day (Jn 3,14-21) and to talk about my journey in the religious life as a Daughter of Jesus.
Around 70 people arrived at the point of departure at 09h30. Young and not so young, children from catechetical groups, adolescents preparing for confirmation, families and retired people, all walked while meditating on the person of Nicodemus, before joining the parish assembly. The ambiance was warm and fraternal.
