On November 15th past, the parish community of Ste Thérèse, Three Rivers (Canada), paid homage to Denise Jutras fj for her 44 years of dedicated volunteer services in the field of liturgical music animation during Sunday masses as well as guiding parents for the catechetical formation of their children.
Gratitude, simplicity, truth, fraternity characterized the homage rendered. Denise was greatly surprised to see family members as well as two Sisters of her religious community present. The celebration was held in the presence of the parishioners gathered for Sunday mass and continued afterwards with lunch in the company of choir members and some invited guests.
It was easy to be in tune with the life-giving energy and brotherhood of this Christian community. Multiculturalism was evident among the participants and this was reinforced by the communicative enthusiasm of their Venezuelean-born pastor.
Congratulations to Denise who still pursues her commitment with joy and ardour earmarked with humility.
Thanks, Denise for being such a witness.

Denise Jutras witnesses…
In my animation ministry of liturgical singing, I feel very comfortable with the people of the Ste Thérèse community. They participate well, are sympathetic, respectful, understanding, grateful, prayerful.
With them, I experience moments of joy, fulfillment and on the spiritual level it helps me greatly. My aim in carrying out this ministry is to render the celebrations alive and prayerful.
Many people come to our celebrations. It is uplifting to see all these beautiful participants so loved by God.
Sr Denise Jutras d.j.
