On April 25, 2021, in Rimouski Canada, another event enriched our community life. Ursule had invited us to live a moment of intense prayer. It also proved to be a time of enrichment, which allowed us to get to know about our different insertions in the world.
On this Good Shepherd Sunday, we gathered together to pray that the Lord would send labourers to his vineyard.
Our assembly took the form of a celebration of the Word during which we evoked the foundations of our Congregation and of those linked to ours.
We recalled the different countries where we have already worked or still continue to live today as well as Vietnam – from where some of our Sisters came from years ago – and a novice presently in formation.
Our prayer was sustained especially by the hymn: “Oh Jesus, you who leads us on your paths of humanity”, Ps. 117, and the text of the Good Shepherd in John 10, 14-16.
We concluded our celebration with the hymn: “I will bless the Lord at all times…”
Formation
Those in charge of the novices, postulants, and aspirants were kind enough to provide us with photos of these young women in formation.
A visual display of them in their respective settings, along with a variety of objects from their respective countries, recalled the presence of the Daughters of Jesus in the midst of the people of God.

Our prayerful support
The Sisters here are very happy to pray for these young women who are preparing to become Daughters of Jesus and for those in charge of their formation. In order for our prayer for vocations to continue daily, we have displayed their photos on a wall in a spacious area where we can read their names and the countries they come from.
Let us give thanks to God
who continues to call workers
to meet the needs
of the Church and the world.
