Marie Therese Quere , Superior General , addressed the members of the Chapter Assembly , saying,

“We have been called to this special time for the Congregation.

We come from different places, each with its own special identity , culture, age experience, social and ecclesial realities as well as different aspects of Religious Life.

We have been called to assemble as one community, wishing to listen to the call of the Holy Spirit as we hear it in our own Rule of Life: –

« The General Chapter is a gathering of sisters who represent the whole Congregation. Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit , it examines the life and work of the Congregation, its fidelity to its own charism and its sensitivity to the current situation of the Church in the world ».
