On Sunday, August 16, 2026, in Kinshasa, Sr. Germaine KABEMBA PEMBA will celebrate 25 years of religious life with the Daughters of Jesus, her family, and friends.
A Celebration of Thanksgiving

In a warm, prayerful, and fraternal atmosphere, the celebration of Sister Germaine’s silver jubilee brought together the sisters, families, friends, and guests who came to give thanks to God for her 25 years of faithfulness and self-giving. Beyond the beauty of the celebration, this jubilee was a living testimony to a vocation built on faithfulness, joys, trials, and daily service
For us young people who had the grace to participate in this celebration, this jubilee was more than just a party.
A Life Given

As we reflect on these 25 years of fidelity, we have come to realize that a vocation is a journey to be lived day by day, with trust, perseverance, and love. Sister Germaine’s life reminds us that every “YES” offered to the Lord bears fruit when it is nourished by prayer, sisterhood, and service.
A Testimony of Faithfulness

What touched us deeply was seeing so many people gathered around our sister to give thanks for what her consecrated life has sown. Our sister’s jubilee will remain in our hearts as a source of strength, a testimony of faithfulness, and a light for our own journey of consecration.
This event will be remembered as a day of joy, communion, and thanksgiving for the entire Daughters of Jesus family.
