In Bogotá, Colombia, the international team for the Daughters of Jesus website gathered for a time of formation and reflection from September 21 to 27. We would like to share with you what we have experienced over the past three days.
The team consists of : Ruthina from the General Council, Agnès, International Coordinator, Jeanne from Canada, Martina from Latin America, Amandine from Côte d’Ivoire, Marie-Thérèse from France, Lucy from Dominica.
Review of the Website’s Objectives
We began the session by reaffirming the objectives of the Daughters of Jesus website. It was important for us to start from there.

An Outside Speaker

The facilitator, Sister Diana Paola Herrera CASTAÑEDA, a Dominican Sister of St. Catherine of Siena, guided us through the topic of digital presence and social media in service to the mission of the Daughters of Jesus. She emphasized that communication decisions must be in line with the Congregation’s charism, foster a meaningful presence, and encourage communication that is humanizing and life-giving.
The Rhythm of our Days
Every morning began with a time of prayer led by one of us. Then, with the help of our coordinator, we moved on to practical exercises: The presentation of an article accompanied by photos, and how to post an article on the website.
The Regional House Community

The sisters at the Regional house in Bogota: Irma, Cecilia, and Selenia welcomed us with generosity and warmth, in a true Colombian style. They did everything they could to ensure the session went as smoothly as possible, whether through their hospitality, the meals, or their zest for life. Thank you to all.
