On this day 25th November 2010 anniversary of the Congregation, sisters and Associates gathered in the chapel of the Vice-Provincial house in Rimouski for a Eucharistic celebration.

During this Eucharist four associates renewed their commitment in all simplicity at the heart of a prayerful and attentive assembly.

The homily was to be preached by sister Ruth Berube during which she recalled the text of St Paul: “ Your life is hidden with Christ in God” ( Col 3. 3…)

Before their renewal the Vice Provincial read an extract from the letter of the General Chapter addressed to the Associates, underlying their desire to continue along the path with them so that together, they would become increasingly “ Missionary disciples “of Jesus, witness to the Father’s tenderness in our humble daily lives.”

The festive meal

was characteristic

of our fraternal gatherings

 

An artistic touch was added to the feast.

 

Therese Normand FJ on sabbatical leave agreed to play a few piano solos .

 

Her performance received warm applause.
