The Daughters of Jesus have a special devotion to St Joseph. During this month, dedicated to him, we are united to our Associates and to you as we offer the following prayer.

Saint Joseph,

with Mother Marie Saint Charles, one of our foundress,

we beg you to obtain for us

the grace never to be separated from “God’s good pleasure”

and to respond to it freely and faithfully.

 

Obtain for each one of us

the grace to walk in faith.

Let us be drawn by your example,

to live ready for the mission

to which we are called,

“to set out”, if it requires it,

in a spirit of sharing,

of communion and of openness to the world.

 

Intercede with the Father,

so that today and tomorrow,

your people may let themselves

be seized by the love of Jesus

and reply to the same call

which we have received

“to honor the Sacred Humanity of the Son of God”.

Teach us to let prayers of thanksgiving and hope

rise from our hearts,

to the praise of the glory of God

and for the salvation of humanity

in your Son Jesus Christ.
