This meeting at Tavibois (Hérouxville, Québec) was organized by the groups of Associates, Anne Jéhanno (St. Mathieu) and Yvonne Forget (St-Boniface). Its purpose was to gather at a time other than our usual meetings, where we are always limited in time, to socialize and get to know one another better. We were welcomed by these groups who offered us refreshments.

As the weather was not conducive to walking outside, we shared inside around a lovely warm heat coming from a wood stove. I even met someone journeying with the group Yves- Marie- Coëffic (Shawinigan), whom I hadn’t noticed during the year. Among other things, I was able to get to know this person better . The Associate family grew to the extent that we were 22 for supper.

Sr. Angèle LÉPINE, f.j. had brought her harmonica (mouth organ). She accompanied us in singing beautiful songs. Then we had supper together, each one having brought his or her own lunch. The groups that had welcomed us, offered us a small dessert to complete our own.

After supper, Monique Savignac, « good animator », had us participate in a game of riddles. And to end up, we took time for a little reflection together. This year the topic was happiness. The question was « for us, what is happiness? ». Here are some answers: It is to live in the present moment, it is to be with my family, to experience special moments like we are having now, it is to take advantage of the beautiful nature that the Lord has given us….

Each one returned home happy for having fraternized in a light meeting, conducive to knowing others better.
