Responding to the proposal of the General Council, 34 sisters and associates from the communities and groups of Guidel and Quimper gathered on November 26, 2025, to celebrate the birth of the congregation.

Discovering our founders

Last year’s celebrations introduced us to Mother Saint Angela and her companions: women of the people, close to the realities of the people of that time. Their gifts of simplicity, humility, faith, courage and boldness made a deep impression on us.

A successful transmission

We admired Father Noury’s project, which he entrusted to one of them and which she passed on to Father Coëffic.

This transmission gave birth to our congregation and to what was close to Father Noury’s heart: lifting people out of misery and poverty through education and care for the sick, without forgetting the spiritual dimension.

A charism that is still relevant today

Our charism, ‘Honouring the Holy Humanity of the Son of God’, is more relevant than ever and enables us, Sisters and Associates, to live out our baptism.

A ‘draw’ of gifts

The ‘draw’ of the card with the gifts was well received as a surprise. The gift of humility drawn by an Associate from Guidel prompted her to question herself. Faced with her colleagues, where she felt helpless, she said to herself, ‘Be true to yourself, express yourself as you are,’ and quite simply, she began to speak.

A convivial moment to conclude

A hearty snack prepared by everyone brought the meeting to a close.  An opportunity to get to know each other better!
