A group of 21 persons gathered at our cottage in Cap-de-Cocagne, New Brunswick, Canada, from October 18 – 20 for a time of reflection prepared by Sr Denise Lirette along with a team.
The subject chosen for these days of reflection was entitled: “New Look and Open Heart” presented through 5 topics: the theology of atonement, eco-spirituality, the Cosmic Christ, orthodoxy versus orthopraxy and mysticism rather than moralism.
A beautiful presentation
We began by viewing Father Richard Rohr’s DVD dealing with each topic mentioned. This was followed by a time of personal reflection and later, a sharing among the participants. An appropriate ritual, prepared by Father Phil Mulligan, concluded each session.
Group Diversity
The group included practicing as well as non-practicing people between the ages of 40 and 82. A common concern united us: a thirst for a renewed spirituality that gives life!
