A time of renewal

The Catholic Action movement “Christians in a Rural World” met in the motherhouse, Kermaria, France for a time of renewal.

Christians in a Rural World (CMR) is a Catholic Action movement that brings together groups of men and women working in rural areas. They want to make their contribution to building a future of solidarity and to be lay people who act in the name of the Gospel in today’s society.

Journeying

On Saturday the 6th of January, seventy participants were invited to follow in the footsteps of the Three Kings to come together the beautiful setting of the motherhouse, Kermaria, for the Epiphany.

Two Daughters of Jesus were present: Yvonne Chatel and Josée Morice.

It was a great time of recharging our batteries and of celebrating together in order to nourish our reflection and our faith.

Those present were invited to take time to reflect personally and together on:

– the initiatives they are involved in.

– the convictions that guide them and set them in motion.

– the changes they feel called upon to make.

Forging links

The extended invitation enabled members of the teams and other Catholic Action movements to make links with Christians in a Rural World.

We ended the day with the “galette”, the traditional pastry associated with the Kings (and Queens!), to nourish our stomachs.

We can conclude by saying that this first event was a success!
