On the 23rd of August 2025 at the Motherhouse, Kermaria, Caroline, Elisabeth and Joséphine pronounced their first vows in the Congregation of the Daughters of Jesus. After the celebration, I was able to gather some testimonials.

It was a great event for us in Kermaria, where we have many older sisters. To witness the commitment of young people, and young African women, was a very powerful moment, a moment of joy. It also reminds us of our own commitment, which goes back a long way.
It energises us to see that young people from another culture are sensitive and called to live the same charism in their country, and that is a great joy.

I come from the Paris region, from the parish where the novitiate is located. That is why I know the community. I have some responsibilities in this parish. I thought the celebration was great. It’s different from our usual way of celebrating Mass.
This is the first time I have experienced a celebration of a sister’s commitment to the religious life. It was interesting to see each one’s journey and what the vows are. Kermaria is a very beautiful place. I think I’ll come back. I appreciate the kindness of the sisters: not one of them passed me by without greeting me. It’s a place I will definitely return to.

We are from the Paris region, from the parish of Saint Augustine, located in Pavillons-sous-Bois. We usually work with the young Sisters of Jesus. We do pastoral work together. The celebration was very, very beautiful, very moving. We discovered a great fraternity among the Sisters of Jesus, a great charity.
