On May 16, 2018,
4 communities in the same sector of South Britanny –
Carnac, Ploeren, and the two communities of Ste Anne d’Auray –
took the road for a day
of relaxation and conviviality together.
We had beautiful sunshine for our trip, destination “Tropical Parc” at Saint-Jacut-les-Pins. The richness and diversity of the different areas in the park fascinated us and took us to several countries of the world: Thailand, Indonesia, Mexico, Brazil, among others. We discovered the fauna and flora, the lifestyles and the cultures of these regions. Giant minerals attracted our attention.
In the afternoon, swarms of multicoloured birds in flight offered us a poetic spectacle that took us over the seas and mountains: the symphony of 200 parrots and parakeets was magical!
At the end of the day, the Sisters of the
Mother House of the Sisters of the Sacred Heart of St Jacut
were waiting to welcome us very fraternally. A delicious afternoon tea was followed by a visit of the property.
Then finally, it was off to Ploeren to toast our 3 jubilarians (70, 60, and 50 years of religious life) with champagne and take a family photo.
At 5 days from Pentecost,
it was a privilege for Yvonne
who was celebrating 60 years
of religious life!
