On Sunday, the 19th of January, the Iris Community in Vannes France, invited the Sisters of the sector shared their wishes for the year 2026.
A festive afternoon
The tradition of exchanging New Year’s greetings is always a good opportunity to strengthen, and rediscover or renew bonds of friendship that distance or the passing years have sometimes weakened. This was the case on Sunday, the 19th of January.
By way of spontaneous exchanges, some serious, some lighter, but always lively, the Sisters from the Vannes and Ploërmel sector enjoyed a wonderful festive afternoon of fellowship and sharing.
A surprise ‘guest’
Passing through Locminé, Sr Gelsomina, the novice mistress, gave us a very pleasant surprise by taking the opportunity to say ”Hello” to each of the Sisters before heading to the station where her train was waiting.
On the way to 2026
To commemorate the recent arrival of the Three Kings, each Sister left ‘like a queen’ with a card of the Magi and a small light so as not to ‘lose our way’.
May the wishes we exchanged for a ‘Happy New Year and Good Health’ inspire us to open our homes and thus bear witness to the joy of believing and loving.
