After her return from Brobo,

Sister Roseline, now in comunity in Lalbenque (Lot),

proposed a ‘solidarity’ project to the Solidarity Council

of a group of parishes.

The idea was to raise funds to create a kitchen for 47 handicapped children in Brobo.

Up until now meals have had to be prepared outside, on a wood fire under a tree.

The parish community decided to make it their project for Lent 2014.

Operation “rice bowl” took place on Friday the 28th March in the parish hall and the amount raised came to 909,43 Euros.

The parish community are happy to have undertaken this action to help the sisters of Brobo in their mission to underprivileged children.
